Coping With Hearing Loss

SLEC is partnering with the Regional Learning Centre to bring you a presentation by Sunita Pereira, Hearing Care Counsellor at the Canadian Hearing Society. She will be here to discuss hearing loss and to demonstrate the use of various communication devices.

Sunita Pereira, Hearing Care Counsellor at the Canadian Hearing Society (CHS) will discuss:

• Signs of hearing loss
• The Hearing Care Councelling Program & CHS services
• Hearing tests
• Communication Strategies
• How to access funding for communication devices Demonstrations of various communication devices will also be provided.

Caregivers will have the opportunity to tour our Centres after workshop.
